Authors Needed to Develop PFPNet Guidance

PFPNet is developing a series of Industry Guidance Books that will provide a go-to-market roadmap and guidance to aid in the testing, assessment, certification, specification and in-service use of PFP systems for different end applications. The first of these Industry Guidance Books will cover the different types of PFP systems that can be used to protect Critical Process Control Equipment (CPCE), such as valves and actuators. The guidance will support the PFP fire resistance test standard for CPCE that was recently produced by PFPNet and is currently being evaluated for adoption by international standards bodies.

PFPNet is seeking individuals, consortiums or companies with relevant experience who are interested in writing this document. The scope of work, which will detail what the Industry Guidance Book should cover, is being developed by a committee of PFPNet members who will then oversee its development. The selection of a subcontractor to undertake the work will be by a competitive bidding process.

If you are interested in being included in the bidding process, and would like to learn more about the planned work, then please contact Simon Thurlbeck at simon.thurlbeck@pfpnet.com
